We recently began prepping the ground behind the center to start planting green chillies. The children at the Center will be in charge of caring for the garden area and then harvesting the chillies when they have reached maturity. The chillies will be sold in the community of Cienfuegos and all proceeds will go to the Center and the children. The photos show workers installing a fence around the garden area and routing plumbing from the Center to the garden for irrigation.
