Citizens of Houston, TX, USA are donating lots of shoes to benefit AHCC. All donated shoes are purchased by Funds2Orgs and the funds generated will go directly to Abba's House Children's Center. The shoes will then be redistributed throughout the Funds2Orgs network of micro-enterprise (small business) partners. Funds2Orgs works with micro-entrepreneurs in helping them create, maintain and grow small businesses in developing countries where economic opportunity and jobs are limited. Proceeds from the sales of the shoes collected in shoe drive fundraisers are used to feed, clothe and house their families. To date, we have collected about 1000 pairs of shoes. Our goal is 2500 pairs and we have six more weeks to collect that goal. Contact us to learn about conducting your own shoe drive to benefit AHCC.
